Festival Information

The Pecan Festival began in 2004 as a way to bring people to downtown Florence and to bring our community together and give local vendors a place to showcase their talent and goods.

The festival is on the first Saturday of November each year and grew to 7 stages of live entertainment, Over 200 Arts and Crafts, Non-Profit, and Food Vendors, and the Run Like a Nut 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon in 2010.

The 2010 event also featured The Pee Dee Blues Bash, The Classic Car Show, the Free Kids Zone, Amusement Rides, Science South, The Tractor Show, The Veterans Tribute, The Pecan Cook-off, and two Beer Gardens.

In 2013 we plan to do it all again!…we also plan to expand to include Dargan Street to the new FMU Performing Arts Center where we will setup a new stage for live entertainment!

We hope to see you all on  annual South Carolina Pecan Festival!
