La Fiesta Del Pueblo festival

While you may have heard some buzz about the La Fiesta Del Pueblo festival you will want to read some of the facts that make it one of the most loved events in the greatest city in the nation!  Read below for the top 8 reasons you don’t want to miss out on the fun and excitement at this great event! La Fiesta del Pueblo translates to “The Town’s Party.” We use this festival to bring awareness of our Hispanic community such as arts and foods but more importantly to bring awareness of services offered within our community to everyone in the community.

This Festival is held once a year and serves to fund the Maria Guadalupe Cervantes Scholarship offered to future students of ABAC. We like to include different types of exhibitor booths from Emergency services to Schools in the area to associations in the community that are looking to let their message be known. Our Food Vendors include typical plates from Latin America but we also have festival favorites such as funnel cakes, corn dogs, and slushies. Our Kids’ Activities area will include bounce houses free of admission, other rides, as well as an Arts & Crafts section. The main stage at the Festival will be host to different types of entertainment. We will have folkloric and traditional dances, modern dance types, bands, and other entertainment. We, also, bring the Student from the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College’s Nursing Program to do health checks. They come and take people’s blood pressure and check their blood sugar as well.
