Just Peachy Festival With Farm-to-fork Tastings

Celebrate Jersey Fresh and one of our state’s favorite fruits by joining us for our summer harvest festival. The festival is free and will include live music, on Saturday, Blue Jersey Band and Sunday, Swing Dixie.
A special feature: “Summer Harvest ” farm-to-fork tasting section featuring local chefs who will use fresh Terhune Orchards and Jersey Fresh ingredients to prepare recipes for visitors to sample. Terhune Orchards is partnering with Zone 7 for this special offering. The tasting area will be open from noon to 4 p.m. both days and admission to the special tasting section is $5 for adults. Children 12 and under are free.
Saturday, enjoy tastings from: ComfortFood, Della Terra Catering, Garden State Community Kitchen, Escape,Vu of Jersey City Hyatt, Trattoria Rosa Bianca, Triumph Brewing Company and more

Sunday, enjoy offerings from: 3 West, Blue Bottle Cafe, OCEANA, Morel & Wine Bar of Westin Governor Morris Blue, The Pickled Heron, Trattoria Rosa Bianca, Vault Brewing Co., and more.
The weekend will be filled with plenty of activities for kids, including a ride through the orchards on our tractor-drawn wagons, pony rides, games and barnyard fun.
Food will be available for purchase at Pam’s food tent, which will offer lots of tasty peach treats along with other tasty summer fare. Bent Spoon will be scooping their delicious summer peachy cool treats on Saturday. Jammin’ Crepes will be selling peach crepes at the festival on Sunday. So come hungry!
Adults can visit our winery tasting room to sample our wines, including our award-winning Just Peachy wine. We will also be serving peach sangria. In the tasting rooms, view works and meet the artists from local Creative Collective, a collaborative of Mercer County artists and artisans.
Take part in the New Jersey Peach Promotion Council’s “Perfect Peach Pie”. The contest is open to any amateur baker and must be either a peach pie or peach cobbler. The entries will be judged at Terhune Orchards at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Pam Mount’s popular free canning and freezing class will be held during the festival at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3.

Admission to the festival area is $5, age 3 and up. No admission fee to farm store, winery or pick-your-own apples. Parking is at the farm.

The Mount Family and Terhune Orchards are pleased to announce a new summer harvest festival at the farm! Celebrate Jersey Fresh and one of our state’s favorite fruits by joining us for our inaugural Just Peachy Festival August 3 and 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival is free and will include live music both days.
A special feature of this new festival will be our “Summer Harvest ” farm-to-fork tasting section featuring local chefs who will use locally sources ingredients to prepare recipes for visitors to sample. The tasting area will be open from noon to 4 p.m. both days and admission to the special tasting section is $5 for adults. Children 12 and under are free.
The weekend will be filled with plenty of activities for kids, including a ride through the orchards on our tractor-drawn wagons, pony rides, games and barnyard fun.
Food will be available for purchase at Pam’s food tent, which will offer lots of tasty peach treats like peach pie, peach cobbler, sliced peaches and cream, and peach salsa. Jammin’ Crepes will be selling peach crepes at the festival on Sunday. Other tasty summer fare like barbecued chicken, hot dogs, homemade gazpacho, salads, apple cider donuts, and cider slushies will also be available for purchase.
Adults can visit our winery tasting room to sample our wines, including our award-winning Just Peachy wine. We will also be serving peach sangria.
Terhune Orchards is also taking part in the New Jersey Peach Promotion Council’s first “Perfect Peach Pie” contest during the Just Peachy Festival. The contest is open to any amateur baker and must be either a peach pie or peach cobbler. The entries will be judged at Terhune Orchards at 1 p.m. Sunday during the Just Peachy Festival. Bring your baked item with registration form by 12pm Sunday August 4th. Rules and Registration forms can be found at terhuneorchards.com

Pam Mount’s popular free canning class will be held during the festival at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3. Admission is free and plenty of parking is available at the farm
