Friends of Nature Music Festival Fon Fest 2013 in Miami Florida – The mission at FON FEST is to transcend the limitations of the commonplace music festival and leave a meaningful and lasting legacy of environmentally sound concerts. What we intend to create is a veritable mecca for Art in all its forms and for people who feel passionate about it; a multitudinous celebration inclined specially to the correct and loving preservation of nature, humanity, and Earth. Coming along for the ride are numerous guest speakers, artists, and activists including the Oceanic Preservation Society (OPS) OPS will receive a charitable donation from FON FEST proceeds to continue their magnificently courageous efforts for the protection of marine wildlife throughout the globe.

Friends of Nature Music Festival will welcome attendees throughout two days of spectacular music, art, and beach fun with the purpose of raising environmental awareness. FON FEST’s mission is to leave a meaningful, lasting legacy of environmentally sound concerts. Performing comedians will be announced soon, followed by a headliner announcement in August. Already announced performers include Matisyahu, Badfish: A Tribute To Sublime, Panic Bomber, and DUB FX.

Events at Fon Music Festival

FON FEST will feature an array of activities, exhibits and interactive stations which will keep attendees occupied at every step. Some of the activities include camping, canoeing, water sports, movies on the beach, comedy shows, live art installations, guest speakers and major musical acts. Vendors will include fresh fruit markets, exotic eco-vendors such as organic soap makers, alternative energy gadgets or an artist displaying his guitars which are created from cigar boxes. Other eco-activities include stations which teach attendees how to pick fruits and vegetables, make homemade detergent or grow personal vegetable gardens. All of Miami’s famed food trucks will also be on Festival grounds serving some of the community’s favorite treats.

The star-studded lineup consists of more than 50 music acts, comedians, and guest speakers from all over the world that will contribute to creating one of the most memorable experiences of your life. Our installations consist of multiple stages, Eco-Villages, Expo Areas, eco-friendly lounges and a great selection of the City’s best Food Trucks.
