In 2011, Jose Maldonado organized the Charlotte Salsa Fest and the¬†Charlotte Bachata FLING to kick start the local Bachata scene in Charlotte and it WAS CRAZY FUN!!!” A year later, Bachata and Latin Dance has gone MAD therefore your host DJ Skip Lopes and Jose Maldonado joined forces to bring you the 1st Charlotte Bachata and Salsa Fest in 2012. Now we are Back again! The 2nd Annual Charlotte Bachata and Salsa Festival July 25 – 28 at the Beautiful Blake Hotel located right in Uptown Charlotte. Join us this weekend, as Charlotte Salsa & Bachata dance fans are treated to the most fun Bachata and Salsa dance workshops and performances given by world renowned Instructors from around the country. Our DJ’s will be playing the hottest Bachata & Salsa music for you to dance the night away until early morning.
