The first of its kind Winter Kirtan Festival is a national-level chant and yoga festival in the heart of Denver. The DENVER CHANT FEST, made its debut in Colorado in Feb of 2013 and has set the dates for 2014 to be Feb 14th-16th. One of the first winter festivals of its kind in the US, the DENVER CHANT FEST will gather the nation’s top Bhakti (spiritual song) musicians including Jai Uttal, Dave Stringer, C.C. White, Govindas and Radha, Deepak and the Breath of Life Tribe, Sean Johnson and the Wild Lotus Band and an array of local live musicians and DJs. Internationally-beloved yoga instructors from 2013 included Bryan Kest, Janet Stone and Saul David Raye. 2014 Yoga Teachers promise to bring even more juicy asana to Denver, so stay tuned for the announcement in the Fall of 2013 who they will be. On President’s Day weekend, the Fest is the perfect taking-off point for a week-long winter adventure in theMileHighState.
