Danish Traditions Day – Celebrate your heritage in Denmark KS

Danish Traditions Day – Celebrate your heritage in Denmark Kansas – Danish Heritage and Traditions Days is held every three years on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. It is a chance to share our rich heritage with younger generations. The festival features an aebleskiver breakfast, noon meal and ice-cream social. Exhibit depicting early pioneer life are held throughout the day. Exhibitors demonstrate everything from butter churning to making a Danish Wedding Cake. What makes us unique is our hospitality and the beauty of the rolling hills where the tiny community of Denmark is located. For anyone of Danish heritage, or for those who just want to experience a simpler way of life, Denmark Heritage Days is a must!

On most days the tiny community of Denmark, Kansas, looks like any other Kansas ghost town, but the Danish have a reputation of greeting visitors with friendliness and hospitality, and visitors who come on the right day are pleasantly surprised.  Check out some other great events in Kansas this year!
