Annual Blackberry Harvest and Music Festival – The Annual Blackberry Harvest and Music Festival is always the first Saturday in August, during the middle of our u-pick blackberry season. This year, music will begin at 9:30 am with Dixie Ridge, a bluegrass band from Appomattox Virginia. A catered lunch will be provided by Rick’s BBQ featuring a pulled pork BBQ platter beginning around noon.
At 1:00pm, The City Limits Band will be rocking the hill with southern rock and country classics until 4pm. The final band of the day will be local bluegrass favorites The James River CutUps. They will be providing entertainment until closing time at 7pm. Admission is $10 per Adult over 21, $5 for adults under 21 and children are free with adults. Admission includes wine and mead tastings with food pairings and a logo glass to keep. There will be craft vendors, gelato and Blackberry Sangria. Lunch by the platter and u-pick blackberries are not included with admission and must be purchased. Blackberries are $4.75 per quart and containers are provided.

The Blackberry Harvest and Music Festival is an annual event always held on the first Saturday in August at Hill Top Berry Farm and Winery. Festivities include wine and mead tasting paired with food samples, live music, and unique vendors. Pick your own blackberries are available at the usual per quart price and a Pig Pickin’ lunch platter will be available for purchase and is catered by Rick’s BBQ. Admission is $10 for adults over 21 and includes wine tasting, music and a keepsake logo glass. Adults under 21 are only $5 and children are free.
