Bring your own plate!! Bringing your own plate will give you a true feel of a history of this unique dining experience, the “family style dinner” held by probably most of our ancestors at one time or another. A great conversation piece at the dining table to share with your new family friends. We will wash and return them to you! We will take care of the rest!

Arkansas Farm to Table creates outdoor dining events several times per year to re-connect diners to the land and the origins of their food and introduce them to the local farmers and food artisans whose good work brings nourishment to the table. Ingredients for the meal are all local, often sourced within inches of the table, prepared by our celebrated Chefs. After a tour of the farm and grounds which shares a history that dates back decades, everyone settles in: farmers, culinary artisans and diners serving each other at the communal table.

Barbara Armstrong did her first farm dinner in 2010 on the proposed site of the Scott Heritage Farm and in 2011 as the farm unfolded was selected to host The Outstanding In The Field Farm Tour for 2011 and 2012. The farm has hosted typically 5 – 7 family style dinners, pignics and play days each year through her Community Supported Agriculture Whole Farm Program.

The event will start with a glass of wine and welcome hors d’oeuvres, followed by a tour and a four-course meal paired with wines. Ticket price for the May 3, 2014 event is $84 per person, all inclusive. The event starts at 2pm. Tickets may be purchased online at http://scottheritagefarm.org/arkansas-farm-to-table-dinner/ or you may contact us via email for a Paypal link and invoice, or call 501-831-7881
