Check out the Alabama Hangout Music Festival in 2014!  Rock out AL, get in the Hangout state of mind with mix track tapes featuring tracks from Jack Johnson, Techno’s Pretty Lights, Soja, 1975, ALO, Wild Cub, Moon Taxi, Balkan Beat Box and many more acts who will be playing on the beaches of Gulf Shores in May 2014!

For its fifth year, the Hangout Festival returns to the beaches of Gulf Shores, Ala., with The Black Keys, The Killers and OutKast leading the charge.

There are lots of great extras this year, including swimming pools and a wedding chapel. The festival runs May 16 18, and tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. ET starting at $229. VIP tickets, for $999, allow swimming pool access and air conditioned restrooms. For $1,599, aka Super VIP, attendees get golf cart chauffeur service and admittance to the pre party.

The inaugural Hangout Beach Festival was held on May 14–16, 2010. It featured performances by Trey Anastasio, the Zac Brown Band, John Legend, The Roots, Ben Harper and Relentless7, The Black Crowes, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Gov’t Mule, Ray Lamontagne, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Matisyahu, Pnuma Trio and Girl Talk.
The 2011 festival took place on May 20–22, 2011. The 2012 festival took place May 18–20, 2012. The three main headliners were announced to be Jack White, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Dave Matthews Band.
